- The Wheelie Big Challenge will help highlight the importance of the 5 Rs –
Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair and Recycle via a free workshop. Wheelie challenges the school’s
Eco-Committee and all the pupils and teachers to take a close look at what
happens to your waste in school and take practical action to improve things.
- The Wheelie Big Competition is a chance
for you to showcase the effectiveness of your actions in school and at home by
submitting a short written explanation of what you have done to reduce, reuse
and recycle waste.
- The schools
which submit a winning competition entry and waste audit results (by Friday 26th April) will be invited to celebrate their success at the Eco-Schools Award celebration event in June 2024. Schools can win super prizes, up to £500 across Primary and Post-Primary schools,
to support their Eco-Schools work.
