Trócaire's Game Changers is back!
Game Changers is a programme and competition for young people who want to change the world and believe games are a way to do this. Trócaire invites your young people to create game that explores a theme linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Each school that signs up to the programme will receive:
- A welcome pack, including board-game templates, blank cards, counters and other materials to help you and your young people get started on the games design journey.
- A CPD on games based learning and a student workshop focused on the SDGs and games design.
- Continuous support throughout the programme by Trócaire Development Education team.
To join the programme, complete the following registration form and don't forget to register on the school zone also.
The Right Focus
The Right Focus is designed to cover aspects of the curriculum of Learning for Life and Work at KS3. However, it can be used as a project to cover different topics and areas of learning such as English, Geography or Religious education.
Trócaire will provide CPD for teachers, a student workshop on the SDGs, a master-class on film making for students and ongoing support throughout the programme. An educator guide and student workbook will also be available to download from our website.
The themes must relate to one of the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- 1 - No Poverty
- 4 - Quality Education
- 10 - Reduced Inequalities
- 15 - Life on Land
